It has been a while since I have done a Stats Stink Sunday post.  Honestly, my new job has the craziest schedule that I have ever experienced in my professional life.  The work is good and certainly meaningful; however, the schedule can be a drag a times.  Soooo here we go!

  • Today, I will watch a football game.  This, for me, is a real excursion from my norm.  I do not care for football and do not really go for watching sports in general. (I am not your typical sports crazed male.)  I just can not pass up potentially seeing a team win their first championship.  Have to pull for the Saints.
  • Totally had a blast at my neighbors sons first birthday party yesterday evening.  The little tyke threw a fun party!
  • Plumbing repairs are expensive.  It was my mid week splurge… Oy.
  • Worship was great this morning.  The Spirit was there and we cranked out “Faithful” by Fee, “Desert Song” by Hillsong, “Come Thou Fount, Come Thou King” – an incredible old hymn of the faith, and “Awesome is the Lord Most High.”  “Desert Song” has a great bass groove.  Which I enjoyed playing.  The drums almost have that TOTO feel. (For those of us who lived through the 1980s.)
  • Braces are expensive!
  • Friends are good!
  • Life is to short to worry about all kinds of silly things.
  • And…  God is so good that comprehension is not possible.

Pray for someone close to you this week and pray that others around you will come to experience the love of Christ.

Enjoy the game!  I hope the Saints kick a hole in one!   (Just kidding…. I know that they are called touchdowns.)

Blessings!
